The title says it all! It is one of the most delicious and healthy French toast recipes out there. I know my kiddos love it and so do my guests. It’s a simple recipe with all natural ingredients. I’m sure it won’t disappoint you.
Ingredients
- Slice bread (4-6 slices)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons of sugar(Brown or White )
- 1 tablespoon Cinnamon powder
- 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup(or as desired)
- 1 fresh banana sliced
- 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil or butter
Instructions
- In a bowl ,whisk the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon together and set it aside.
- Heat a frying pan on medium flame and add in the butter or oil, meanwhile start by dipping each slice of bread one at a time in the mixture (milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon) and pan sear the slices until golden brown on each side (about 2-3 mins).
- Repeat the same process for all the slices.
- Take them off on a paper towel one by one.
- While plating the French toast, dust some powdered sugar on top and cinnamon, sliced bananas and a drizzle of maple syrup. That's ALL! It's so yum and delicious.
